Welcome new children and Letter sound work

Hi Parents and Caregivers, A big welcome to our new children who will be joining us soon. This morning we did letter sound work and sang a song about a 'Old red rooster' to learn the sound the letter 'r' makes. We also did chalk board work where we learnt 'short stick, lady bug spot' makes the letter 'i' and 'tall stick, twig' makes the letter 't'. Put 'i' and 't' together and we make the word 'it'. Thank you, Nikki and Sarah

  2. Hi Nikki and Sarah,

I'm Wagner, Caio's dad - we didn't met yet, but hopefully will soon! :-D

Being both a parent and also an IT professional (and someone that uses social media a lot to keep in touch with family and friends on the other side of the world), I found the Blog idea simply amazing! Knowing that although I will not have time to talk to you as teachers everyday, I will still have a regular window on what is happening on his school life is great.

Like good food and software (two of my passions), simple ideas with great execution (like this blog) always pay off! So congratulations for the blog and thanks for getting Caio so excited to start school!

    Wagner.
