Today we used a pack of lolly bears to find out what colours were in the pack. We graph the colours on the most, least and the same amount of bears. We found out the pack had the most: green and orange amount of bears, the same: red and yellow amount of bears and the least: amount of bears was pink.

Well done for bringing in your teddy bears today. What great names your teddy bears have. They are enjoying the picnic at the table. Well done to three of our children who welcomed in ERO to our school today. They have been at school between 4-10 weeks. What a great effort to already be part of the Kapa Haka. Keep checking the blog to see the exciting things we are doing with teddy bears this week.

Today we were learning to write and recognise "teen" numbers. We sung a song about "teen" numbers and then we went outside and wrote our "teen" numbers on the concrete with chalk. After that we played a game finding "teen" numbers on the concrete. "Teen" numbers are 13,14,15,16,17,18,19.
Today we wrote the words in, win, sin, pin on the chalkboards. (The children sounded out these words themselves). We talked about what was the same in the words which is I and N. Then we talked about what was different in the words which was the biginning letters W in win, S in sin and P in pin. Look at us below:
