Bears In Chairs
Today we made our own game board using shapes. We used tiny teddy biscuits as counters and a die to know how to move our teddy. Hassan 'I liked rolling the die". Stavros "I liked sharing". Madelleine "I like using the teddy bear". Kingston "I liked rolling the die, counting and sharing". Liam "I liked sharing". Jabran "I liked sharing".

Teddy Bear Mathematics
We were learning to: recognise number instantly on a die to 6, play and share together, follow directions. What we liked about maths: I liked counting from 10 to 1 (Corin), I liked rolling the die (Kingston), I liked playing the whole game and my favourite bit was playing and taking turns (Joe), I liked getting a teddy bear as a counter (Heili), I liked sharing with Madelleine and I liked playing with the teddy bear and die (Lucy).
Teddy Bear Week Monday
Well done for bringing in your teddy bears today. What great names your teddy bears have. They are enjoying the picnic at the table. Well done to three of our children who welcomed in ERO to our school today. They have been at school between 4-10 weeks. What a great effort to already be part of the Kapa Haka. Keep checking the blog to see the exciting things we are doing with teddy bears this week.
