Whole School Assembly 7.3.14

Today we went to the whole school assembly. We enjoyed a range of performances and watched children receive certificates for amazing achievements. Well done Arahoe!

Beach Trip

Today Room 20 went to the beach with the year ones in Ara Teina Syndicate. We got on the bus and drove out to cornwallis beach. At the beach we ate our morning tea and then headed into the water for a swim. After swimming we ate our lunch and went for a walk as a class. At the end of the day we headed back on the bus back to school. This was such a fun day. A big thank you to all the parents who helped today! Our trip was a huge success!

Apples

Today we were learning to make a pictograph. We are using a pictograph in Room 20 to show how many people like red apples and how many people like green apples. We found out that 7 people like green apples and 10 people like red apples. This means we need more red apples for apple snack attack day on Friday.
